Indoor distributed passive devices
Mar 21, 2018

Devices used in indoor distribution systems are divided into active devices and passive devices, which are all linear reciprocal devices. The linear reciprocal element only performs linear transformation on the microwave signal without changing the frequency characteristics and satisfies the reciprocity principle.

Passive devices refer to filters, distributors, resonant circuits, etc. to achieve signal matching, distribution, filtering, etc. Active devices refer to microwave transistors, microwave solid-state resonators, etc. to achieve signal generation, amplification, modulation, frequency conversion, and the like.

Passive components commonly used in indoor distribution systems include power dividers, couplers, base station couplers, combiners, bridges, trunk amplifiers, loads, RF cables, and so on.
